The Tanzanian Marketing Communication Conference Series is holding its annual conference in Dar Es Salaam - 29th - 30th September, 2011. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Tanzania’s Social-Economic Challenges and Prospects; the Inevitable Role of Marketing Communications“. As you might guess, most of our discussions will focus on how marketing communications will help alleviate the challenges we currently have and strengthen our resolve to evolve a functional and viable economy for Tanzania.

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete is expected to be the special guest of honour for this year’s conference and the conference will be moderated by the Chairpersons of the three collaborating associations:

  • Rosemary Mwakitwange, Chairperson, Marketing Association of Tanzania (MST)
  • Mrs. Saada Mufuruki, Chairperson, International Association of Business Communicators
  • Daniel Mshana, Chairman, Public Relations Association of Tanzania
The conference will be held at The Golden Tulip Hotel, Oysterbay, Dar es salaam - September 29th - 30th, 2011.

We expect an attendance of about 200 professionals (CEOs, Marketing/PR/Communication and Media experts) from all fields and spanning across the Government, private and non-profit organizations.

Objectives of the Conference

  1. To highlight the essential contribution of Marketing Communication in the growth of Socio-economy development in any country,
  2. To promote sustainable socio-economic growth in Tanzania,
  3. Foster cooperation/networking between stakeholders in the Marketing Communication industry,
